which really confuses me, how do OTHER tuners create the maps and not the software designer themselves? hmm...

I have been calling COBB out on this for over a year now as they have been promising maps "real soon" for just as long. I think they have the talent to make hardware but don't have the software reverse engineering talent....for that reason I wish they would just "fess up" on their site that they will not be delivering on any maps on their own and will be leaving that up to the dyno-tuners out there rather than using the promise of maps as "bait" to buy their tuning device. They don't need to use the maps as an enticement as the hardware product they make is about the only maainstream device for a 370Z that is on the market. So why promise maps they can't seem to deliver??

Software designers developed a Cobb Race Tuner software which allows people to modify the current map or create a new map.

Tuners use their software to tune your car by changing fuel/timing/etc.

So, any tuners w/ Cobb AP softwares can tune your car.

There are two versions of softwares:
Accesstuner RACE (only allows one car)
Accesstuner PRO (you can tune as many as you want

Glad you like the Cobb AP.

I get a CEL occasionally with a Cobb AP.
Besides, there is not much information available to G/Z community since the VQ engine is NA. So, I uninstalled it.

bluestyle55 03-17-2010 10:48 AM

bla bla bla...filller so i can remove my dyno charts.

FuszNissan 03-17-2010 10:51 AM

Yea and since they are selling Cobb stuff the tuners should just send the maps to cobb or cobb can pay them and have them write several maps for the different mods.
