:icon18: No man, you can flash and reflash til your hearts content, if you want to run stock parameters for daily driving and use the tune for race applications, then more power to ya! Literally!

Hooks up to your OBD port under your steering wheel, take a look under there when you get a chance, you'll see a white female plug in. You plug into that, and your accessport will start installing itself, just load the map that was created for you, unplug it, and enjoy the new balls out power.

hm lets say your current mods are just
intakes and you flash your ecu with the settings that AAM has sent you.

what do you do when you add on a couple more stuff? like headers and exhaust?

do you send it back for the updated settings? or can you download new maps from the web? lol i am so lost

I'm not sure how AAM does things, but when Cobb adds new maps for the 370 on their website, they'll have a map for every mod, and then when additional mods are added, you just download that map. Give AAM a call and see what they tell you, they might sell individual maps, or let you download them free, im not sure.

Awesome, do the forum a favor and create a thread just for the before and after dynos, it would be much appreciated, I'd like to see just how their base tune does.

They will let you get Cobbs map for free:tup:

Why is it that multiple maps are being referenced when COBB still only shows Valet and installed stock? Have they released new maps thus breaking the code?? Do TELL!

serturbo 03-16-2010 04:38 PM

Other tuners are able to create maps.
