If you tune your car with Cobb...you have no worries. You can uninstall the access port and it returns the ecu back to stock. It leaves no traces. I did

If you tune your car with Cobb...you have no worries. You can uninstall the access port and it returns the ecu back to stock. It leaves no traces. I did it with my STi for 2 years and I look forward to doing it next time I need to take my Z into the dealership (which so far has only been once).
