It depends on the Nissan rep, all of which are different about this. Ive had cars tuned and still had my warranty and they knew it was tuned. At the dealership here in El Paso I asked the service manager how hard was he on breaking warranties, he said "As long as you dont get too crazy with it he is OK " I asked about my mods and possibly getting a tune and he said he would still honor the warranty. Now if the engine blows or something really bad then they will probably back down, but I doubt a tune will blow an engine. Its all matter of preference with each location.

Do you know how much we are probably paying for the warranties? If you could buy the same car but without a warranty it would be thousands less, so you might as well use it since your paying for it. And all cars will need the warranty at some point and time.

I bought the extra warranty so I'm not sure if I should tune it just yet. Don't wanna void the warranties this soon. Maybe if I get Turbo or something down the line

UpRev has 5 settings. Just return it to stock setting before servicing.
Simple press of a button. Map 1: stock Map 2: 91 octane Map 3: 94 octane Map 4: Valet mode - RPM and speed limiter Map 5: Anti theft - RPM and speed cut

using the stock uprev map will not work at the dealership. You need to completly unmarry the uprev license and programing from the ecu. the dealership doesn't look through your tune to see how much advance you are running they check software id or checksum which are totally changed while the uprev software is installed. you will be screwed hard if you rely on just switching to the stock map, that is if your dealership gives a crap.
