what id does it lets you change how the engine runs. so you can advance timing for more more power correct the air fuel ratio for more power and tune to safely run aftermarket parts. You can use a cobb accesport to control a turbocharged engine as well (AAM uses it) so it is something that as you continue to modify the car you can continue to use to keep it running right. Right now if your car is stock it shows around a 10-15hp gain if you have bolt-ons it varies on how well it was tunned. You would want to buy the cobb unit then take it to a shop and pay them to optimize your tune right now.
So say you supercharge your car and it's running like crap, you tune it with the accesport and get it to run right and you could gain hundreds of horsepower. If your car is stock you might get no hp gain you might get a little bit like 10hp Last edited by 1slow370; 02-12-2010 at 09:18 PM. |

Full bolt-on's with Cobb here.....I gained a whopping 7 whp.....and it was tuned by AAM.

Did you feel the gains throughout the RPM range though? Unlike the CBE and Intakes which seem to have more improvements top end, I am hoping the tune helps low end too...
