Switching Tuning Software: EcuTek to UpRev

My Z has been tuned on Ecutek for 6+ years (basic bolt-ons), initially in-house at Dynosty in Louisville, then remotely by them 3 years later following Gen3 intake install. Since the last tune, I keep getting P0300 codes. They typically go away after 2-3 days, and Dynosty says it could be a wide variety of things.

Finally took the car to my new local speed shop in STL after moving from KC (where no one was able to determine any mechanical issues) and the owner is convinced its an issue with the tune itself. The shop is very well respected in my area so I do not believe they are just pushing for unnecessary service. Only issue in getting this resolved is they no longer work with Ecutek, primarily due to the delayed communications/software locking issue already noted on the forum, so I would have to switch to UpRev software.

TL;DR - has anyone gone from EcuTek to UpRev? If so, did they encounter any issues during the software switch?

Any input is appreciated

UpRev is a step backwards. Stay on Ecutek.

Typical Dynosty story.

Get with user Bythebay and he'll (Eugene Turkov) remote tune you. I highly recommend from personal experience.

As said above, no reason to go backwards. There are plenty of excellent tuners who can assist you using what you already have: Eugene (BytheBay), Seb (Specialty-Z), Martin (RSEnthalpy), etc.

That’s stupid
