UpRev said they'd be happy to try to reflash it back to stock once they are back from SEMA.

Meanwhile, ECUtek said they think the security issue is NOT due to UpRev software. So, literally, no one knows what's going on at this point.

They were supposed to be showing off their new software for the VK56VD Titans (2016+) but I didn't go so can't say for sure

Update: I got ahold of the previous owner and the car was tuned with UpRev by JoTech in Dallas. So, that appears that's the problem.

Also, it's disappointing to learn this car already has a tune on it. I hope the new ECUtek tune does more for the car than what the UpRev one has done.
