Old ROM and new license. What do I need to do?

Hi,

I have an on old ROM from 2012 that I want to flash my Z with. Long story short: Smog. I'm putting back my car to that same configuration and will be buying a new lisence and cable (sold the old one). Is updating and converting a straight forward process? Do I need a tuner to do it?

I really liked that tune and trust who tuned it; would rather not go through the hassle of getting another tune.

Did you save the Old ROM to the pc?
