Got to love corn - COBB GTR on 'E'
Holy crap, what a blance of HP and TRQ.
Knowing Tim Baileys capabilitys first hand this set up will probably be on the conservative but safe side while still being a blast. Pre requisite of TT or SC upgrade must be enough fueling headroom for an E85 set up, I loved filling up (non Z) for 1.20$ a gallon and making good power while doing my bit for the enviroment :tiphat: CobbTuning.com - 01/18/10 - GT-R Tuning with E85 Nets Big Power! |
Heh, corn on the cobb.
Nice article. |
^ V good lol - that would make a T shirt

So in theory, a TT setup with huge injectors and additional fuel pumps would allow a z34 to run e85?

I don't think it would be possible without a built engine, the stock block cannot handle more than 530ish safely
|
I think the fuel rails may be sufficiant, not sure as not looked at them in any depth, but being a 6 cyl the injectors do not have to be massive, a single WALBRO pump and 30%ish larger injector would be adequate.
A built motor would be great to pump the boost up. E85 would be perfectly safe on a Z, you would gain a lot of TRQ, the HP will still be limited by boost / air flow at redline, TRQ is where you will really pick up the benefit, you wont push a **** load of boost on our motors with stock internals and high compression any ways. |
That is pretty friggin sweet.
