Got my car logged via UpRev Cipher
Man this UpRev data logging tool does wonders! I got the raw files from a friend of mine who's a certified UpRev Tuner, played around with MS Excel a bit and extracted those sexy results!
Following runs were conducted in 2nd gear @ WOT Ambient Temperature: 75 F Coolant Temperature: approx. 207 F Air-Fuel Ratio vs Engine Speed (RPM) I broke the 14's mark! Dayum I'm running lean, I'm looking forward to prove my friend and local tuner wrong who claim that I won't see much from adjusting AF. So finger's crossed. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ignition Timing (Crank Degrees Before Top Dead Center) vs. Engine Speed (RPM) This is where I'm expecting to see some nice gains, advancing the ignition timing. As you can notice the ECU keeps on retarding the timing to avoid chances of knocking/detonation as your revs go up. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I also did the Intake Air Temperature vs. Vehicle Speed, thing is I used SI units and didn't save the Excel file. So use google to do the conversions lol Intake Air Temperature (Degrees) vs. Vehicle Speed (kph) Cold Air Intakes FTW BABY!! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ My ECU ROM number was sent to UpRev in hope to crack this lame ole Gulf Spec ECU. Can't wait to get her tuned!! PS: Car did 50-75mph in 2nd in almost 3.62 seconds
