Road Tune?
I found a local Master Tuner via EcuTek's website. He quoted me 400 bucks for a road tune, which he said is enough for 90% of people.
The place is Xero Limit in NJ. Anyone done business here or heard of this tune 'lite' before? |
I did a ETune with uprev and zero issues. Tuner lives in Texas and I live in Washington

It should be fine, I ran an E-Tune for some time although it did lead to some issues. Personally, if you are going the E-Tune route I would spend more and either go with Seb at SpecialtyZ? (I believe that's the company) or Jon at Z1. You can't go wrong with those.

I've always been iffy about road tuning. It's fine for the part-throttle stuff, throttle response, etc. But it gets to a point where you're doing full 4th gear WOT pulls all the way up the tach on public roads over and over, and that makes me kinda uncomfortable. Personally, I think you should do a dyno tune with some road work afterward for driveability tweaks.
