Looks like another tuning option out
Looks like HP tuners is expanding their vehicle support. Will be interesting to see how they compete.
|
Has anybody used HPtuners yet?
I am curious how it will compare to Ecutek for auto and boosted applications. Hopefully somebody can chime in here? |
I've used hp tuners on my previous vehicle (cobalt ss/sc). Seemed to be a decent turning platform. I never dove too deep into it as I got rid of my cobalt and bought the Z. Ironically I still have the cable and possibly a few license left. May look into it for the Z.....

A local shop (Australia) has offered to tune my TT Z with it, but they would have to do it from scratch and would need my car for atleast 1-2 days so they can learn everything about the platform and HPTuners.
But I am already in the process of getting a e-tune with Seb with Ecutek. Probably best I stick with that. |
Do not, under any circumstances, become a guinea pig for a tuner to figure out new software.

HP Tuners has been around for a good while. They might be new to Nissan/Infiniti, but i am willing to bet they will have WAYY less problems than uprev. Why? Because they have better software engineers working for them.
I think ECUtek is the best option right now. |

With Ecutek's recent announcement. Any updates on the HPT front, specially with boosted cars?*
