EcuTek @ PTuning
Just wanted to give some props and a thank you to PTuning.
After pairing my HFCs and exhaust with Stillen Gen 3's, I wanted to make sure I was on the safe side (& make more power :rofl2:) and get it professionally tuned. After researching I settled on EcuTek and PTuning as both came with outstanding reputations. I've never had any of my previous cars tuned so I came in with a bit of trepidation. The guys at PTuning were professional and knowledgeable. Made it an easy process and I'm very pleased with the results. I gained power & torque, the delivery is smoother and throttle response is much improved. Dyno: (DynoDynamics tend to run high #s) https://farm1.staticflickr.com/831/4...49868b6a_b.jpg |
assume this is flywheel figure and not at the hubs ?
|
From my understanding it is a steady-state dynamometer which tends to read higher than most others that I've seen.
That figure is at the wheels not the flywheel (from what I was told). The number itself isn't what I'm focused on as much as that area under the curve and the throttle response. Definitely some improvement according to the ol' butt dyno :icon14: |
Your peak/stock = 343.3/320 = ~1.07728
Set it against the ballpark stock DynoJet figure of 290whp = ~311whp, which sounds about on par with I've seen around for a CBE and Gen3's. The difference in speed traps isn't too dramatic, but the power delivery is so much better. |
