Nismo Tune for 'Regular' 370s?
I've heard people say a few times that the Nismo makes 350hp mainly from an ECU remapping (since the Nismo exhaust doesn't add much).
Is it possible to flash a base 370's ECU with the Nismo data to get similar benefits? I'm new to the flashing world, but it seems like there should be a way to copy the info from a Nismo ECU and transfer it to the ECU of a base model. I'm amazed there aren't torrents to download the info, transfer to an access port and then flash onto our cars...but I may not have a clue what I'm talking about

it's been estimated an even 9 and 9 hp for each the exhaust and remap.

I think the NISMO may have a different ECU hex code then a stock 370Z so may have compatability issues when it comes to checksum data.
If you have an AP, wait a bit for me to test my own changes and I will give you a map to run that will be better then stock ;-) EDIT - looks like COBB did this with no HP gain ....

Any word on this in the past month or two? I've already installed a NISMO exhaust (purchased a stock NISMO exhaust from one of the members on here for a great price) and would like to upgrade the ECU codes as well.

well the NISMO Z has 18 more horses and a few more pounds of torque. Nissan claims 9 horses are from the upgraded NISMO exhaust and the other 9 are from a different computer tune.
