Default ECUtek OBD2 Bluetooth connector

For you guys with a ECUtek map on your cars do you use the ECUtek App on the IPhone to connect to the OBD2?

If so did you purchase the ECUtek Bluetooth connector which seems rather expensive or did you manage to get the ECUtek App on the iPhone to connect and operate using a cheaper Bluetooth/WiFi OBD2 connector?

Thanks

As far as I know, when I asked my tuner about this last year, only the EcuTek OBDII connector will work with their phone app.

That’s what I thought however a forum member has downloaded the App on an Anderoud phone and recons it works with a cheap Bluetooth OBD2 connector.

Yes only the ECUtek OBDII connector will work with their phone app. One of my tuners said this also.
