the Ecutek dongle and phone app for the GTR just looks so easy and amazing to use.

pops and bangs has its own slider bar for how little or how much you prefer lol

That;s how it was on my MHD tune on my 335, I had a slide bar were I could adjust the duration of the burbles( Pops)

I'm pretty sure Seb can do it because I know I can do it in any ecutek tune I offer and ecutek also has instructions listed in their tuner documentation on how to do it. Here is a sample from their documentation that you can search for online:

Raising these values to say 5000rpm when the coolant temp is hot will encourage pops and bangs during gear change and decal conditions.

it's also doable during launch control:
Adjustments are provided that allow you to enrich the AFR and retard the timing when the vehicle is stationary in order to create pops and bangs. This adjustment is removed as soon as the vehicle starts to move.

The question lies in ethics and liability.

Thanx man, I'll ask him. too bad I don't have launch control (7Spd auto)

HUH read it on page 9 thanx man!

I actually emailed him on Monday about the flame map, he said it's too much of a liability for him. Apparently cars have caught fire and also he said it's not good for the motor.

map :D :D

Sorry it’s not something I’m comfortable with as it goes against my principles of how I envision the vehicle to run. Think of every tuner as an artist or chef, each one has something unique or special to offer. I’m sure if you contacted some other tuning shops you will find someone happy to provide you with these services.

My situation was a little unique.. I did my install in Houston because my brother-in-law has a lift in his garage and wanted to do the install with me.. plenty of good tuners in that area so I just took it to JTRAN for a dyno tune.

I think there are good tuners around here if you are NA (I know Elmo and SS_Firehawk have used Martin - they can hook you up with his info), but I'm not sure what their experience is with FI VQ's. If I were to do it locally I would go with a remote tune from Seb... but as mentioned that won't get you the pops and bangs. =)
