Big Thank you Seb @ Specialty Z!

This might be one of the shortest threads that I've conducted, but I just wanted to say how satisfied I am with the feedback/follow up with Seb. I had emailed him a few days ago (weekend) in regards to a previous tune. I decided to give Specialty Z a call during the weekday to get some pricing. A short wait with one of the representatives and Seb was on the phone. He took the time out of his day to speak to me and address my concerns.

*His email response time was way better than I expected. That is something important and clearly shows his advocacy for new/past clients.

Most importantly, he was honest, professional, and up front about Specialty Z's services. He even told me, he didn't want me to pay up front for a retune till we figured out what going on whether it be mechanical (car only has 39k miles/I'm pretty particular with maintenance)/tuning related.

After speaking about the tune itself, it clearly made sense that the motor had detonation. There is no way in hell that timing would be removed if there was no detonation? Am I right?

Thank you Seb/Specialty Z, looking forward to the remap!

I'd worked with Sebastian a few years back when he helped me tune my G37. It was an amazing experience! I will tune with him early next year when I finally get intakes for my Z!

That's what I told him as well. It gives me a good reason to visit the west coast again.

Specialty Z is awesome.

I almost forgot to add that Seb even sent me back my OEM map next day! Still surprised how quick his response time is considering his busy schedule.

Seb, if you're reading this, thank you so much! Hopefully we can iron out the issue prior to Road Atlanta at Z Nationals.

Seems like a great tuner. Look forward to hitting him up when I am ready to go E85.

Anyone using an Ecutek flex fuel kit from him? How is it working out and how does it wire in?

What about Ecutek boost control?
