Sprint booster question

On Sprint Booster's website they advertise the v3 for 2009-2015's. Can I assume that it works on a 2017 and they just haven't updated their website?
Thanks

Probably, but you should call them directly to confirm.

IMO - if you ever plan on doing any mods or getting a tune... get a tune instead of the sprint booster. You'll even get extra goodies like launch control, traction control, etc. It's a much bigger upgrade. The sprint booster is a hack at best.

Thanks. I have a Stillen gen 3 cai installed and a FI cbe on order. I'll probably do test pipes when I get the cbe. I will be doing a tune, trying to decide between uprev or ecutek. I was just going to do the sb temporarily but maybe I'll just wait. I could still be a few months out on the FI. :crying:

Your warranty is done when you get the tune...so keep that in mind.
The booster can be removed in 10 minutes no effect to warranty...however you are not really gaining any HP like the tune...

I think only the ECU warranty would be done, no?

OP - since you are modding and planning to tune anyway, my advice is to just wait and get the Ecutek tune.

I'd definitely like to find out the warranty situation since mine is new. Couldn't you put it back to stock tune prior to going in for warranty work? I assume if they access your ecu as part of the warranty work they can tell you've modified the tune even if you put it back to stock? I see the ecutek has more tuning options (definitely like that).

It should fit a 2017 since they havent changed the 370z much. Id highly recommend a sprint booster though if you arent getting a tune anytime soon. Yes like some have said a tune is better than a sprint booster, but having a sprint booster is better than having the stock throttle response. When it comes time to tune you can sell the sprint booster pretty easily.

I tried calling sprint booster earlier but they are in a meeting all day and aren't taking calls today. I'm still probably 3 months out on my FI cbe, I'm waiting for the install of that before I have a tune done.

Check the tuning subforum.. I am sure the warranty topic has been covered ad nauseam.

There you have it! Clear as mud. I say tune-away. YOLO.

Back on the sprint booster topic... you might also consult your tuner on the cost of touchups. Maybe you can go ahead get the tune and then touch it up when you get your FI catback? It's possible the cost of the tune + touchup-tune ~= tune + sprintbooster - resold sprintbooster.

Just throwing that out there. I have no idea if it would proof out.

We talked about doing a tune now but decided to wait and just do it once. By the way, I was checking out your tt build thread, nice job, must be fun to drive.

I went ahead and sprang for the sprint booster. Easy install. I went for a test drive on the default mode sport mode (5). What a difference! I'll play around a little more and try upping the sport mode more and give the race mode a try but even on the default mode throttle response is amazing.

It's not necessary to run both.. just ask your tuner to make the throttle tables more aggressive until you're happy.
