Ecuteck update and issue on track

Hi guys,

I need your help if you are from Ecutek or have Ecutek flash and play around with. Today is my first track day weekend of season and I am running a weird issue where 5th gear straight line is rev limited to around 5K. 3rd and 4th gears has no issue. Also static neutral can only rev 5k too. I was never informed by tuner there is specific rev limit there and there is no codes/light throwing. One scenario happened before is I was trying no lift shifting on the street but failed(shifting 4th to 5th) where triggered cut fuel on redline and brake light and traction light come on. Those were gone after a while/ restart the car.

Anyway it is bit of frustration to find car have issue on track but I would appreciate if anyone could help. Thank you in advance!

I don't have any Rev limits set per gear although that is a feature. Your tuner should be able to reset or turn off.

Thanks man. Update: after several session testing, I feel it is more of the problem of advance traction control. It behaves weird. It triggered traction lights and brake lights and make tachometer pointer shaking in certain revs then go higher...

Did your tuner make your TC control adjustable through steering wheel? You can increase or decrease the sensitivity

He didn't. Later he told me I need to buy EcuTek Bluetooth hardware to adjust it myself (Additional $299) which need to hook up with my iphone. Is it the same case to you too?

Um no. He just needs to set it so that you can do it on the steering wheel. You simply turn off VDC then hold cancel and the oil gauge temporarily hijacks to show you the level of TC control. It's part of the software already.

Thank you man! I will forward this message to him and call Ecutek to confirm
