Uprev Problems

1 Attachment(s)
Hi all, I need help trying to figure out how to get my ECU flashed with Osirus. Searching hasn't helped me out to this point. Here is the background:

Purchase and received base map from Z1 for my 2009 370Z. Downloaded OsirusInstaller.exe from Uprev Support. This package only comes with the Cipher and RomEditor software, not the Osirus software that the manual states I should be using, and what all the tutorials show people using to flash their ECU. Tried to flash my ECU the RomEditor software, see attached picture, however it never says 'ECU Ready', it always says 'Searching for ECU.' Cipher works just fine, I can datalog, so I don't think that I have a bum cable.

I have tried this using Windows XP and 8.1 with no luck.

John at Z1 suggested I remove the program, turn off the computers firewall, and reinstall, but that did not help either.

Has anyone else had these problems? I am having problems getting ahold of both Z1 and Uprev.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Uprev has streamlined the software so you do it all through rom editor now, osiris is no more. If/when they'll get around to updating the user guide I have no idea.

As for it not detecting the ECU, I have no idea. I've heard from a couple guys the last couple days saying the same thing.. There may be a bug in their latest release. Contact uprev tech support

Correct, everything is thru Rom editor. Email benard@uprev.com or mike@uprev.com

Sorry for my delay. I had a few tunes on Saturday and couldn't call you back. As stated Bernard should be able to help with this.

Thanks,

Jon

Thanks John, Two attempts to call Uprev today, with no luck. I'll ask for Bernard once I get ahold of them.

There was a bug in the latest release of the software, I have been told it was just fixed. OP update your software and it should work
