The whole idea of her logging is so you can focus on driving....but instead you're taking pictures of her logging

Anyway, Seb's shelf tune for a near-stock application (MAF and drop-ins) was absolute night-and-day over stock. I switched to a Nismo exhaust and surely needed a more dedicated/logged tune because the car felt slower carrying the old tune. I remember asking him about safety as I couldn't turnaround logs frequently due to weather keeping me from pulls. He always errs to the safe side. The whole process is him making incremental changes, and then finding that point where correction starts to become apparent. He'll then dialing back some as realistically, you don't want to flirt at the edge on a regular basis.

I now switched over to G3 intakes, and going for a remote re-tune. The hot weather map I currently have is expected to be safer than stock because I guess on a relative scale, it's intended to be more conservative to serve its purpose — so it's awesome that you can fall back on that.

And so while there are those unpleasant disclaimers when agreeing to tuning, sensible tuners like Seb aren't out to try to blow up your car. No one wins there. It'll only go wrong if it's a very elaborate build and should've been doing on-site dyno testing as opposed to remote.
