UpRev ARC Feature

Any suggestions?

I'm looking to tune it better for my Z, now I am using default values.

Thanks :driving::driving:

what exactly are you looking to get "better" out of it? PM me the details on what you are looking for and I'll be more than happy to help.

....mmmh.....

I am experiencing in Issues with ARC....

I have 1EL5B ECU.

Sometimes with ESP ON in normal driving (I think that with ESP ON ARC is disabled), on WOT, third or fourth gear on, clutch engaged (in other word in a full acceleration to REV limit):

The ECU cuts power at xyz RPM (like when ARC is in Launch Mode with Clutch pressed, ESP OFF and first gear on) !!!!

I must leave the gas..... :shakes head::shakes head:

I wrote to UpREV one week ago, but not reply....

My ARC settings are the defaults on a blank ROM.

Check your speed minimum settings.

What would you change to avoid drop power on third gear-ESP ON-Flat Foot Pedal?

Note: the car reflashed with the old ROM works well...

It's weird I encountered this same issue last night on a customer's car. It has to do with the flat foot shifting.

Is yours a base model??

Is a my2009, Lev II, Manual Transmission, with Syncro Rev.

ihiryu 11-12-2016 11:02 AM

Weird, this one is a 2010, base model. All of this was working fine, until yesterday. I had tuned him months ago, and I updated his rom because he moved to 1000cc's and E85.

I'll get in contact with uprev Monday/Tuesday time frame.

When I tune, I always disable the ARC stuff until I'm done, then I'll reflash the ARC license, and give her a drive around the block for a sanity check.

Basically what this car is doing, once it reached the flat foot shifting RPM/rolling anti lag RPM, it would basically cut power. I currently had to turn everything off, with the exception of Launch Control.

One other issue I'm randomly having, is I can't turn off or on toggles for the DTC. Are you having that issue too??

flashgordon 11-12-2016 12:18 PM

....now I have Berk HFC CATs, fortunately I don't turn OFF any DTC code.
The cell light will still off.

Oh Jesus!
I just updated my UpRev....
As you see, DTC Toggles ON/OFF disappears and ARC Toggles Appears.....

Fortunatly, I saved my old version of ROMEditor....

I wrote many times to UpRev support....

I have not yet any reply to the cutting power in normal driving (ESP ON)

So I wrote on the forum, and I found that ihiryu has the same problem too...

Now I have the DTC Toggled disabled as ihiryu too....

I am waiting a solution....

I am an UpRev enthusiast, but new features is a well things if works well on all ECU.

So testing, testing, testing, is mandatory before a sw delivery!!
The risk is a bad gossip around UpRev.....

I just got the ARC today and have had the exact same issue. its hard to recreate since its random but it doesnt like the traction control on at all. i would say every other first gear start it will kick in with the rev limiter. it was raining today so the typical slip action of the car (reducing power to gain grip) was overtaken by the ARC rev limiter and then let go to allow the traction control to engage. did you get a resolution on this?

sorry to bring up an old thread.

If not resolved, check voltage on your cruise control pedal switch...ARC features look for that voltage reading, so make sure the switch works and is adjusted properly at the pedal(located at top of clutch pedal). When the clutch pedal is not engaged the top of the clutch pedal should be fully against that switch(just like brake light pedal switch). If not computer will see a constant voltage and activate flat-foot/launch control in normal driving. Me and Benard at Uprev figured it out after much data logging and testing lol. 2008 G37S Manual
