Service Engine Soon Error Code UpRev Cable

Complete newb here. I just got a TT install from AAM competition. I have an UpRev cable. How do I find out the error code of what is causing the Service Engine Soon. The tuner said it might just need reset.

I have the software but it looks like it only flashes the ROM and doesn't provide diagnostic information.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sounds like the reminder to change your oil. To check for error codes you will need an obd2 scanner. Rent one or buy one. I got one from Amazon for 20 bucks.
