Have you hit the track again since your retune Seb? I'm just waiting until it gets cooler out before I hit the track again probably in Oct.

I'm glad I stumbled across this thread. Tuning the Z is a lot different than it was tuning my Fiat 500 Abarth.

What all would I need to get an EcuTek tuner and having it tuned remotely by this Seb guy you all are talking about. How much does the tuner cost and where do you purchase it? Everywhere I look, they never state the price.

Also, this Seb is able to tweak/tune the VVEL as well?

Sorry for all of the questions.

I think he charges around $800-900 altogether for an etune (including the software, the cable, his tuning, etc.). You purchase a cable and license from him, then you download the software onto your laptop. He builds a base tune based on your mods and everything, then sends it to you. You use the software and cable to flash the tune onto your ECU. Then you drive around and do some data logging. You send it back to him, he tweaks it, sends it back, you flash it, data log, etc. Repeat all that a couple of times until the tune is complete.

When the time comes, I'll be giving him a call, or sending him an email. Thanks for the info!
