Uprev tuned but running lean

.2 points isn't *that* much leaner. If you have problems, you should have been closer to 12.5 in the first place. But if you want an extra margin of safety

.2 points isn't *that* much leaner. If you have problems, you should have been closer to 12.5 in the first place. But if you want an extra margin of safety for your track day, raise your octane. Use a half tank of race gas. I usually run race gas at track days for safety anyway. I fill up, then drive the 1.5 hrs to the track and top off at the track with the unleaded race gas. Then top off with race gas after each session. This is assuming you're doing a circuit-track track day, not a dragstrip track day.
