Does anyone know if you can use flat foot shifting on a non sport pkg 370? Sebastian said I should be able to use it regardless but on the ecutek

Does anyone know if you can use flat foot shifting on a non sport pkg 370? Sebastian said I should be able to use it regardless but on the ecutek website it says synchrorev models only. I emailed ecutek and their also saying it should work regardless.. Very confused
