Default Tuning price question

I'm looking at having a Uprev tune completed and was quoted 1000.00 for two tunes. One for 91 octane and the other for 100 octane. I'm in Denver so Mac Auto sport is the only place locally that tunes. The 100 octane is for autocross or track day events.

Is 1000 too high? I had my Evo X tuned for 345. And other people get their subaru's etc tuned for a lot less.

The price quote most likely includes the license for UpRev. That alone is around $500-600. So you are paying for the tuning software and the shop time to tune. The price might be a little bit higher than I'm used to seeing but it doesn't seem crazy.

MAC is the most expensive place around.. Uprev tunes typically go for around $600, including the license. I know a tuner that's local to you, I'll PM you his info.
