Looking into e85 Tuning..

Hello, I'm sure I could use the search button but I enjoy fresh discussion that myself is included in.. so keep that into account before the flames start up. I currently have a 2012 370z 7AT. The mods I've done on it currently is Stillen CAI, Berk HFC, and I plan on getting Invidia Gemini CBE. So after those mods I will definitely need a tune and I've been looking into ECUTEK because I live in South Dakota (Yes we do have electricity and vehicles here:icon17:) I was wondering though with the e85 tune I'm most likely going to need to up the injectors and probably the fuel pump. So with that being said 1000cc injectors and a 255 fuel pump would be sufficient correct? Consider I will be NA for about a year.

Zeitronix ECA : SEMA Award Winning Ethanol Content Analyzer and Flex Fuel Sensor for E-85 and E-85/gasoline Blends. That also

I would personally just wait until you boost your car to go E85 since you will obviously need to retune at that point anyways. Just my :twocents:

1000cc, fuel return system, 340 lph fuel pump. Basic for e-85 for the boosted application. 600cc/GTR injectors would all be needed for e85 n/a. Stock fuel pump can handle it.

:iagree:

And you won't gain much if any power e85 on a NA tune. Not really worth the hassle of not being able to fill up at any gas station. Wait til you are boosted.

Thanks for the input everyone. I will most likely stick with Premium 91 octane. Switch to e85 on the boosted tune.
