TT Tuned on Ecutek, 538whp/412ft-lb

Finished my Gamma V3 TT installation (First DIY install of that kit!) yesterday. Took it to JTRAN in Houston for an Ecutek tune. Start to finish Johnny had the car tuned in about 3-4 hours. The power delivery is so smooth and linear it's like a factory car. Got valet mode, flat foot shifting, and launch control too. He could have done boost control (and I also had a manual boost controller we could have installed), but the performance was so beautiful I just left it off. Even the factory fuel computer works. Just thought I'd share! Not a ton of boosted Ecutek builds running around here yet.

Edit: The torque dip in the middle of the curve is my factory clutch slipping a little.

The way he turned it, it looks almost like a centrifugal SC powerband. Power builds up to redline and TQ is flat. I'm guessing he stayed under 400lbft because of your clutch and the motor. cG's :)

Nice results! I watched your thread from the beginning. Congrats my man!

You're in St Pete and you took your car to Houston for a tune? Do you know anything about Circuit Motorsports in Orlando? Suppose to be a master tuner for Ecutek... I'm curious because I'm about to go there - but you didn't... help!

How much PSI?

Also curious how much boost. #s look high for just WG spring pressure.

Don't know anything about them.. I did my install in Houston since my Brother-In-Law (lives there) has a lift, air tools, and the time/desire to help me tackle the work. Gamma was going to provide a canned tune - but it was heavily recommended by knowledgeable members on here to get a custom tune and I also wanted Ecutek instead of Uprev. A lot of people have a lot of great things to say about JTRAN, so I took it there and had an excellent experience with them.

I actually don't know. I don't have a boost gauge installed yet! Build went down to the wire, just ran out of time so we didn't install it. Not sure when I will have the opportunity to do it going forward.

I set up the wastegate as instructed by Gamma... threaded the rod so it fit the wastegate lever in the closed position - then one turn tighter to tension it. I was also impressed by the power (figured we'd need to plumb in a boost controller) but everything looked so good off the bat I just left it.

Anyone know if I can get boost from Torque?

There is a vac/boost gauge in the torque app. Wouldn't know how accurate it would be in this application

Based on some searching - doesn't look like it is accurate. I'll eventually get my gauge installed.. but I probably won't have time to do it for a while.
