I'm in the Aurora area of Illinois and I've come to the conclusion an ECUtek E-Tune would probably be best. I don't see a lot of guys handling Z's regularly around here. so I would hesitate to give someone the car that isn't fully familiar with them or knows how to work them exclusively.
Features are a hook by themselves and the response on the forum I see is fantastic

Please DO investigate your tuner before signing up.
Tuners... are erm, difficult to get ahold of. Especially this week with SEMA. ![]()

There are tuners who specialize in remote tuning ECUTEK. - That way you don't have to drive anywhere or worry about finding a dyno. Have a good working relationship with your tuner BEFORE you send money in. That being said, Msg for details. ![]()

I'm in the same boat, trying to find a tuner in illinois with experience that can work with ecutek. Not gonna need it for about a year or so, but need to have a plan and maybe get to know somebody. Some of the searching I've done produced a shop called P&L Motorsports in Lisle IL, and they use an outside tuner "JRTuned". Also, I heard of a guy "drewtuned" through FB who is out of West chicago I believe. This guy Drew apparently has worked with Z's and uprev, not sure about ecutek. I haven't contacted anybody yet about tuning, I'm just in the research phase for locations of local tuners. Anyone heard of them?

Get in touch with Phunk (Cjmotorsports). They are becoming a Ecutek dealer. They could probably set up a Duno day for all you guys. They just opened a new shop and will be offering full service soon. Chicago needs some Z love!

My buddy and I are in the Peoria area and we're going to Dynosty in Louisville Kentucky. He's Going with Ecutek. Research is key, and everything I found was great in regards to Dynostys work. Traveling is a small price to pay for quality work.
