Default New Uprev Feature... V-Cam

If you want a good laugh at them, read their new feature which is a copy/paste from their website UpRev V-Cam - Engine Management - Store

UpRev V-Cam is a virtual cam that will give you the sound of having BIG cams at idle without the expense of installing aftermarket cams. There’s no performance gain from this modification. If you have a questions about the UpRev V-Cam you can call 512-821-9848 or email sales@uprev.com.

damn Im glad I sold my Pro Cable and went for a standalone ecu.

A few months ago I asked about this feature availability on aftermarket ECU calibration at some thread and was e-lynched for it. If Ford could do it with Trackey for S197 BOSS 302, anyone else could too on any engine equipped with electrically-controlled cam phasers.

What is wrong with everyone ganging up against Uprev? They seemed to be the best tuning software for several years with no one complaining at all, only until ECUTEK got released?

There was no competition before ECUTEK, now there is. Which means Uprev will be working harder and getting into more development to support the needs of the Z platform. To Flame a company that was the ONLY company up until last year before the release of the new ECUTEK just goes to shows what kind of market the Z platform is.

No wonder GTM/Gamma ripped everyone off, they wanted to make their moneys worth coz they knew in any second people would backlash against them once a different company came out.

It ain't that. ECUTEK came out with new features that are performance based. UpRev's up-date is just for sound, not performance. People want performance results. It offers more. That is what drives the market. That's way you see guys switching from UpRev to ECUTEK. I may be one of them in the future.
