Default Have a 2008 G37 and wish you had a 2009+ so you can enjoy all that EcuTek goodness?

Well there might be some good news!

Yesterday I had one of my local 2008 G37 guys come in, we swapped in a 2009+ ECU... Took a little bit to figure out which ROM would work in both the ECU and the car, but in the end I got the car running with no fault codes!

The custom is going to come back in a few weeks for the tune - I'm super pumped about this.

I'll update this thread as I learn more

John

Visconti mentioned that the EcuTek can utilized the OEM display and feature A/F via the OEM display and exhibit Boost control directly from Ecutek.

Visconti can you shed some light on the prerequisites that are required to enable the Boost control feature via the stock interface (ECU) instead of some third-party Boost Controller???

And do we need a MAC 3 Port Boost Control Solenoid - Haltech, AEM, etc????

I've simply just re-posted what EcuTek had announced in their news letter.

If you have questions about this please post it in another thread - this thread is only for discussing running a newer ecu in a older car

Thanks

John

So basically you don't know now how to enable these features, Great. Yet it's marketed. Freaking awesome.

Would you care to elaborate on those said issues? I'm very interested in how this goes.
