So given that these two features won't work in my Z, would it still be worth it to pay the extra cash and go with Ecutek over Uprev? Sent from

If you get a tune from me on ecutek, I can provide launch control with an adjustable 2 step rev limiter even if you have an automatic transmission. Ecutek’s custom programming language allows tuners to develop any features they need, uprev doesn’t offer anything comparable.

Email me some logs and a description of your mods to calibrations@infiniticare.com.
Once I’ve reviewed the data and I find it to be acceptable, I can add the supplemental code assuming there is space and the existing tune is editable. Please email me for additional details. |

I've written the 2 step to work on both auto and manual models. The 2 step limiter is adjustable using the bluetooth unit. It can also be adjusted using the steering wheel controls. This feature is tuner specific.

They seem to hold up fine, haven’t heard of any failures yet. The stock torque converter has a relatively low stall speed so the launch RPM is limited. But those with a high stall converter can launch at much higher RPM.
