Good Dallas or Memphis tuners? (UpRev or ECUTek)

I'm needing to get my car tuned to eliminate some cat codes that keep popping up.

Who in the Memphis or Dallas are are really good. Leaning towards Dallas/area because that's where UpRev is.

Thanks!

Yes, stick with someone in Dallas. I don't know of anyone that I would trust to tune my Z in Memphis.

That noted, you might want to consider EcuTek instead of UpRev. There are numerous threads regarding what EcuTek's latest updates have to offer compared to UpRev (flat-foot shifting and launch control for MTs, as examples). If you can't locate them, let me know and I'll post the links.

Isn't that a bit like using a sledge hammer to drive a tack?

Not trying to denigrate your suggestion - it may be the perfect solution - it's just that your examples struck me as humorous. :tiphat:

No offense taken. My thinking was that if OP is going to pay someone to have his Z tuned, why not get the most up-to-date package, in the event he wants to do more than just clear codes in the future.

Are you set on a dyno tune? Remote tuning is a good option as well..

The only place here in Memphis I would consider using is dynospeed. You may want to call and talk to them about it.

Dynospeed came to mind, Big J, but didn't think they tuned Zs. They did great work (multiple times) on my GT, though.
