So Finally did it

The only difference in the manual would be the flat foot shifting and launch control, Theres no really power difference, Ran manual cars before

Launch control is awesome I had it on my Stage 2 STI via Cobb. It's perfect for 1/4 mile track runs. Also Flat foot shifting was cool too. I miss my STI.

Have you ran your X in the 1/4 mile ( want to see the ET) I am torn between a used 2013 G37x sedan $22k with 22.5 k miles vs 2016 WRX. The price difference is about 8 grand and I already tested the reliability of the VQ. Test drove the 2015 WRX and it is definitely push me back to my seat, but in a very short time 2k-5k rpm. I could feel hitting a wall pass 5k rpm, unlike the G it keeps goin! The G sedan x is about 500 IBs heavier than the wrx.

Not sure how reliable the WRX after 50k miles. BTW, stock 2015 WRX only dyno at 210 HP, but it is 500 Ibs lighter..

G37x sedan combined MPG is 18-19
WRX is 23-24 combined.
My 12xs coupe with no tune and Stillen Gen3 intake I got consistant 13.7's last Nov with traps just over 101mph. I'm anxious to take it this year now that I'm tuned but from reading this thread I may sell ECUTek and go Uprev then go to track.

Very nice. In your case at least, there appears to be a measurable and not-insignificant gain with EcuTek versus UpRev.

I'm glad you're happy. And thank you for doing this comparison. I'm looking forward to seeing the dyno charts.

That's awesome. Avery370Z made 13 whp/10wtrq over the Uprev tune. Your gains are very similar to his.

OK guys finally got home and have a few minutes before we start working. The sheet will show that not only did I gain an overall 15+WHP and 9 WTRQ but I made it all sooner and throughout the entire band ;O. I was shocked to that. I thought I would just see it all up to from 2500-7500! The gains across the board and I am SUPER happy. Thank again John.

Nice gains.

Did they get a chance to look into the AT7 issues with the EcuTek tune you didn't have with the UpRev?
