Is there any way I can feed this signal into the OEM ECU and EcuTek manage fuel/ignition cut

I was thinking I'd need Motec/Haltech for flat-shift ..........

Email me, I'm sure we can figure something out

After reading this thread, I am insanely excited to get home and get the Z finished up. As I said in the other thread Visconti, do you know of any tuners in the VA area through you? Or do you just make the trip? I am currently deployed, but whenever I get back I decided I will be using Ecutek instead of Uprev.

Pureautomotive is one of our dealers - we make trips there and tune out of their shop

What I can tell you is I've been doing this type of Nissan tuning with ecutek on GTR for several years, a lot of the stuff that's in this software is due to my Involvement behind the scenes... Any skilled tuner can pick up this suite and tune your car but it's going to take a while for them to get a handle on the very advanced custom map stuff that some of us have been using on a daily basis for years.

I do make trips, need my expenses covered and some money in my pocket to make it worth it.. The more cars you have the cheaper it'll be per car.

I'm defiantly down to make a trip

Shoot me a PM on cost of software per car, group of 5, max you can get done in a day, extra costs for your time. I might be able to get around 5 that would be interested in this.

Hi Guys, wanted to share; I contacted EcuTek about if the phase 2 rom can adjust the SRM so that different gears (namely 4.08) can use SRM with full compatibility -- ie. no CEL after 100 mph and exact rev matching on downshifts.

According to an EcuTek rep, this is possible. He attached an image file that I'm guessing is the settings to plug into the ROM interface.

Here's the exact email he sent me:

As excited as I am about this, I will probably wait for someone else to be the guinea pig. Let me know if anyone with SRM and 4.08 gears has used this rom to adjust these settings before.

It's been in the software for over a year now

I've personally have done this on a few cars, and it 100% works.

Video proof of the tune with 4.08 gears working with SRM?

I'm just playing devil's advocate here, but if you don't trust his statement that he has done it, are you really going to trust that the car in the video has 4.08 gears installed?

Well after a B A D experience with my preferred shop and this latest announcement by EcuTek I'm jumping ship from the shop and uprev. Heading over to M&S Performance on Long Island this Saturday, having the ART pipes installed and a Visconti tune, looking for 93 / 93 aggressive / 93 w/75 shot nitrous / valet. May do the flat foot shift and launch control, we'll see not really sure but I'm super excited. I'll be taking video's of the runs especially when we spray for the first time. I'll post up the results.
