Based on the info. there it looks like the Standard product comes with one base tune and a license for 3 e-tunes that expire within a year, but these "e-tunes" are not transferable... So if you bought this used, you don't get any of the e-tunes without buying a new license from them.

It sounds like this products is very basic, and the e-tunes are just files you download yourself online after your upgrade your car and select some options from a menu, but I could be wrong. That's just how it reads to me- but it seems pretty clear that the standard model isn't really tune-able, as in you can't take it to a tuner and have custom maps rewritten and saved.

Here's their contact info. 512-821-9848 or email sales@uprev.com

But be careful from their site it sounds like they will try to sell you a subscription for some "e-tunes" and also state they charge $100- for tech support...

If I were you I would sell this system ASAP-

Not really how it works. You buy a standard license and cable then you can upload a tune as many times as you want. The e-tune is where you tell them your mods, they build the tune map, email it to you and you upload it at home. If you have an uprev tuner then you would have them tune the map and you wouldn't need the e-tune at all. The standard cable is intended to allow you to use cipher to check/clear codes and upload tunes. It is not what you would use to tune. If you want to tune you would upgrade to the tuner cable. That would open up the ability to build your own map or if your tuner doesn't lock their maps to modify your tune map.

UpRev is still the primary tuning software for our platform. Ecutek is the only other option and it currently does not allow self tuning.
