Items: UpRev Cable UpRev Sticker Part 1: Reflashing ECU 1. install Osiris.exe and Cipher.exe on laptop. 2. update Osiris.exe 3. download rom from UpRev (email) 4. open Osiris on laptop 5. plug UpRev cable to laptop and to car's OBDII port 6. press the start button twice to turn car on 7. upload tuned rom from UpRev to Osiris 8. reflash ecu (takes less than a min) 9. turn car off once Osiris instruct you to 10. start car to complete the reflash Part 2: Data Logging (working on this) 11. open cipher.exe 12 select parameters (UpRev needs eight parameters for e-tuning) 13. select "next" 14. select "start data logging" 15. select "stop" when finish logging data 16. email UpRev data Once I get my updated ROM I will go have the car dyno'ed on a dynojet. For a dyno run... please correct me if I am wrong... it should be done in 5th gear for a manual transmission...

I was looking at the Cipher settings and it looks like it allows user to turn off TPMS... Is that right?

On my car, it will only deactivate TPMS warning light for a few hours or maybe a day or 2 and TPMS light will flash again then stayed lit unless I deactivate it again using Cipher.

Yes, basically for aftermarket wheels that does not have TPMS in it. I have an aftermarket wheels that I can deactivate the warning light, but still comes back again after a few miles of driving.
There might be a trick to disable the TPMS warning light on the dash if not using a TPMS on non OEM wheels? Anyone? |
