Time for a Tune - UpRev Price Check

After installing Stillen CAI's, Full GTHAUS CBE, and Fast Intention Long-Tube Headers, I understand I am probably running lean. I am currently throwing a Check Engine Light and it is complaining about high voltage on 02 sensor bank 1 and 2 ( this was using a generic tester so I am sure the fault codes are generic). I am assuming that is because of these after market parts. I called a local tune shop (Pure Tuning in Toledo) to ask about UpRev and they quoted me $850. I cringe at that because I just bought a house and I have seen people get UpRev tunes for $500-600, which I am willing to pay. Is there a cheaper option for fixing the A/F ratios? Will the dealer adjust it for a fee?

I notice my Air Fuel Ratio ( AFR(m) ) hovers between 13-15 when driving, and when I let off the gas it jumps up to 29.x. This is coming from ODBII reader with Torque Pro app.

I appreciate any feedback.

I have no clue what guys are getting now but as off the end of last year was still around $650. $850 is ECUTEK price. The AF jump off throttle is normal and the CEL lights are because you do not have cats anymore. I'm guessing you do not have emissions test in your area for inspection stickers.

That makes sense about the CATs being gone. I didn't put two and two together probable because it took a little while for that light to kick on! I guess I can keep resetting it until I can get a cheaper quote for UpRev. Hoping the local shop will work with me a little.

You could always just buy the uprev cable and license and use a solid tune from a member on here with the same bolt ons. I believe you guys are able to do that. Not sure how uprev works exactly.

As far as i understand since im in market for tune pretty soon standard license cost $300 and most shops charge standard 300-350 for 3 hr dyno time. Most good shops near me charging $650 total

Its completely up to the shop to set prices for dyno tunes, areas with more competition will have better pricing.. if they are the only shop in town then yes they are going to charge more. I've seen anywhere from $500-1000 for the same reflash and NA dyno tune, average is around $600.

OP another option is to get the Osiris standard kit and tune remotely with datalogs, it's not only cheaper but you get the reflash cable that way so you definitely come out ahead.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions about it,

Thank you very much for the info! I am looking into the e-tune option and will reach out if I have any questions!

Don't think that's possible. The tune file is linked to ECU# and cannot be loaded into another car.

This can be done by doing copy/paste of the tables you want etc.

It would be great if someone is willing to share their maps, I don't mind sharing mine at all if anyone wants to give my map a try

Wasn't sure. Thought I seen a thread on here wher people were sharing maps. I believe it had to do with throttle or acceleration.

Even then it's not just a simple plug and play. In theory if you have the tuner edition of Uprev you could input all the information from someone else's tune into the rom file for your ecu but that would be very tedious and time consuming. There is no easy "copy paste" way to do it AFIK.

I just got mine done in Columbus at Covert Tuning Dynamics with uprev, If you paid cash is $700, And i highly recomend them.

Dyno sheet? Numbers anything ? Isn't that Scott's place ?

Question
If you disconnect the battery for a extended period does the map get erased?
