I am unaware of ecutek releasing the new features, flat foot shifting, launch control and ect. My car was at SpecialtyZ for almost two months after Visconti announced those features and Ecutek said they were still conducting beta testing. If they have released those features it most have happened in the recent past and why has no one said anything.

Also, I am in total agreement that it will be a superior package once it is made available with all those features and hopefully flex fuel programming for those of us with forced induction!

I've been texting with Visconti and he confirmed those features are available and a valet mode as well. He also mentioned about scaling the O2 sensors as well so that they are similar to a wideband on a dyno.

December 2014, so yes, quite recently. But I agree with you on questioning why there hasn't been more fanfare. Frankly, there aren't a lot of guys running Ecutek, and there are a lot of Uprev homers on this forum. Up until these features were finally released, I think there was good reason that was the case. Ecutek hyped up those features a lot long before they were released. That can rub people the wrong way; I understand. But now that they're here, I hope people will be more open to the idea that there is some legitimate competition in the marketplace. As for me, I don't really post about my tune much for a couple of reasons: (1) tuning is not at all my expertise (2) the Z is my DD and I don't track or autoX.

All I really wanted out of my tune was better throttle response, and I got it. I also wanted a valet tune and had to wait almost two years for it. Everything else was a bonus in my eyes. Which is an extremely different perspective than many people on this forum have.

Here's John's thread with videos he did showing off the new features: Visconti Tuning - EcuTek Tune Promotion
Hotrodz and Merv like this.
