@ bullitt.
Do you know if rob will do etunes? I have ecutek and think more can be squeezed out of it. I've been told I'm maxed out at 282 hp because of our shitty gas here in the north, but I have a hard time believing that with the extra breathers I have on. Basically looking for a second opinion.
As for your venture,I look forward to seeing the difference between the two. Your opinion and the facts for or against either or will go far in the community for you boosted folk.

Yeah give them a call! I had a big concern making the jump and Rob had try to get me to do it earlier in the year. my biggest concern came from if he left our local shop and my area (he lives 10 mins from me) and went to a different state would he still be able to tune for me. He has mentioned that he is in fact willing to e-tune.

honestly, I want to keep opinion out of the review and just let the facts speak for themselves.:driving:

Update: on the uprev we are finding that the fuel mapping isn't very clean... My ID2000 were running at 95% duty cycle at 850whp which is erroneous since they are good for 1500whp on pump gas... So we are going to start fresh with the ecutek now and see if that clears up the issue. My fuel pump is good to 1800whp so we know the issue isn't there. I will update as we progress. Stay tuned!

ANMVQ 05-12-2015 07:48 PM

Why would the table be forcing them to run so high? Where's the fuel pressure ?

bullitt5897 05-12-2015 09:24 PM

Turns out the injectors were not the ID2000cc I was led to believe. Since I am under a time crunch we have some ID1300 available and they will be going in the car in the morning.

bullitt5897 05-12-2015 10:47 PM

Another update: the injectors are FIC1100's.

Checked my bank account... lol holding off on the ID1300's until later. Right now we will go for parity and we will crank up the fuel pressure probably to 58psi which is good for atleast 925whp on 93 oct. I will know more tomorrow morning.

So we are calling it for the moment. I ran out of fuel... Smfh!!! Out of pump and out of injectors in the 8xx's. But no worries I am going to be swapping my fuel pump out and my injectors after zdayz. We are hoping to see well into the 1xxxrwhp on the new pump and injectors. Today was full of a bunch of small technical issues that once fixed actually dropped our power output! *mindblown!* today was mainly to get it up and running I will follow up when we get these issues fixed. I will say there are a LOT of advantages to the ecutek software! We now have launch control, 2step, flat foot shifting (we are foregoing due to the power levels) and a real traction control. So stay tuned. I will post up a dyno chart here soon. We were at 854rwhp on 24psi @7100rpms and 682ftlbs @6200rpms when we called it. 1 more hp and 8ftlbs of tq for my new base map compared to my old tuned map. So all in all we made more power on a lower reading dyno and gained fine tuning capabilities, features and tons of room to grow.

The more I get to see how ecutek works on the back end the more I am falling in love with it! Did I mention a true traction control! And 8 levels to set it to!!!

Glad to here things are going farely well and your excited with what you see so far. I'm loony forward to seeing a 1000 hp dyno sheet!

Just wanted to let everyone know that EcuTek has now* released all their new Phase 2 features - Anyone that has been recently tuned by me already has them - now all tuners will have access to it!

Thanks, John! Grabbed the update and am programming my ECU as I type this. Will have data logs for maps 3 and 4 shortly!

So in that list it has gear ratio and rear end ratio. Is that only for auto or can it fix srm when rear end is changed?

It's in the software.. been in there for 2 years

Ok so know that I finally bought this lol does the " full pedal to throttle control" mean that when I mash the pedal to the floor the TBs actuall open 100% ;) and not like 90
