we havent stated a price on it yet because we have to put together a real installation kit for it. it could fluctuate +/- quite a bit based on that. SPOHNs estimate is on the rather high side, i dont THINK we will hit that. the product is rather comparable to our twin fuel pump assembly... and we want to price it in around the same area.

Pricing is going to be key here. Price it too high and it'll be a 'dead' product. Find a way to make it affordable and you could reap the benefits with the number of potential sales it would generate. If it could be done for $400-500, it would sell like hotcakes.

I feel that would be well worth it.
Phunk, would there be any warrenty offered? A product of this nature as long as it's installed correctly probably wouldn't have any issues.

I can't say a whole lot today because I am currently out of state on vacation... But last week while going thru updates to the cad and programming in preparation for production, we came up with several theoretical improvements that, if work out, will turn installation into a quick PnP with almost no installation support components required. This may allow us to put the pricing more in the customers favor. When I am back in the office Monday we are going to put it through our theoretical brainstorming and try to find flaws with these changes. But I think it will work, and doesn't require starting from scratch so won't set us back more than a week to make the changes. I think that one way or another, machining will begin this coming week.
