I'm just curious of price now. Its hard to say being this only targets a certain range of people here. I'm going to get but might have to wait till first of the year. Key word might. Again big props to ya Phunk. Now I'm be interested in a fuel pressure gauge. Where's the best place to mount a fuel pressure sensor? Also is there multiple places to mount?

with a stock fuel system, there is no where to mount a fuel pressure sensor at all. a port will have to be added to do this. there are products available for older VQs that use the same 2-bolt flange in a couple spots in the engine bay fuel lines. They space the flanges and give you a port. unfortunately on a VHR motor, the only 2 spots where you can use one of those is right on top of the engine in the front, so it wont be tucked away out of sight, but at least easy to get to. one is directly in front of the intake manifold by the PCV connections and the other is on the passenger side either at the very front of the valvecover or mounted to the timing cover, in that area

no more known test results that i am aware of at the moment, but i havent spoken to the team testing it since i originally posted their results. i will have to get in touch with them soon.
either way, we are all caught up on everything else in the CNC so we are beginning setting up and building fixtures to produce these this week. too late in the season for a large percentage of guys.. but it will be there for spring time! |
