The wheels and tires look great. Your Z is going fly at the drag strip with the extra power and now much needed traction to keep her hooked up!

I just finished installing the the 15 lb braile battery tonight, Thats a weight saving of 20 lbs off the front of the car. Will post picture of battery tomorrow night.
it took about 1 1/2 hour's to install it . The car started perfectly with the braille.

Too bad on the times, but at least it wasn't the car or the driver... under those conditions you should just call it good practice and have a beer...

This Saturday the Z club is going to Toronto Motor Sports park. My best time there so far is a 12.91. at that track.
I learned a lot about too much traction with the drag radials as the car bogged on the line last Wednesday night. Since there's a major event at the track. It will be hard to get more than 3 runs in as our test and tune runs will happen when there is a break in the days main event. At least im going to see some gerat drag racing that day. The track will be fully dressed that day so the lanes will be fast. It will be different drag racing with the stands full of people. The 370 z now does great burn outs so a least it will look good coming to the line. Z.

Oh I see
There was a guy on myG37 that snapped his CV joints after installing a S/C from a few launches at the dragstrip, you plan on doing any sort of modification to your axles after your SC install?

Probably the "too much traction" comment. Manuals are supposed to have a little spin leaving the line, autos are supposed to dead hook. Need a higher stall (or torque ) if you think its bogging down too much. Sticky tires= higher launch RPM.

Agreed. But he doesn't have his high stall converter yet. And no one really knows how much the rear end is going to be able to take!
