OIL TEMPS
I'm running a Z1 25 row cooler. Ambient temps were low 90s in the sun and I was running right around 220-230F. Once it started raining and cooled off, and I backed off the car a little I was more around 210-220F. |
More Videos
These are unedited because it took me several hours to upload each one and I just had them uploading while I was away at work. Sunday Session 3 This one has VDC off. It is much much more improved than the video in post 1. It also demonstrates fuel starve this is noticed on the last lap in turn 5-6-7 (Carousel) and Turn 12-13) around the 13:40 and 14:40 minute mark. You can hear us talking about it over the intercom and then I pit in early. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-oyImgS9Fsw Sunday Session 4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VI1LFRNUrpI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wpqmxV13P8w This is where they combined run groups. A mustang and vette pass me, and I get by an integra at around 16:00. Then near the end of the first video it starts raining and I get back up to the mustang/vette. At 3:11 in the second video I go to pass the vette coming into turn 14 (sharpest turn of the track) and miss 2nd, which sends me off line and abs kicked in. You can see me kind of fighting the wheel. I probably should have just opened up the wheel and went onto the gators instead. |
Suspension
I was running OEM 370Z Nismo springs and struts, with Nismo S-Tune? OEM Sway Bars. Alignement was factory settings for the 370Z nismo. It felt very planted but had enough give for the track. For a DD the ride can be a little rough. |
FYI - in my stock 370Z I get fuel starvation at just less than 3/4 tank during/after turn 4 at Laguna Seca.

fuel starve happened to me around the 75% mark
