Kaaz Diff.?

They do yes, but I don't believe in assumptions, especially when you're dealing with the differential. Just because 1 diff fits in 1 car does not automatically mean it fits

They do yes, but I don't believe in assumptions, especially when you're dealing with the differential. Just because 1 diff fits in 1 car does not automatically mean it fits into another, and I wouldn't want to offer it until the manufacturer confirms the info for me. Different things are required for diffs to fit into 350Z's depending on the brand - some need extra parts, some need existing parts modified, some drop right in. All depends on various factors

So far I know the Cusco works, Carbonetics works, and the OS Giken works. Time will tell if others do as well.

Yea, assumptions can lead to bad things. Thanks for the info Z1.

The Quaife is an excellent unit on the street, but they just flat out don't work well on the track in my opinion. I had one in my old 350Z and it was so bad I thought it was broken. I sent it back under the lifetime warranty and they didn't find anyhting wrong with it, but sent another new one anyway, which is awesome customer service. Unfortunately the new one didn't work any better so I switched to a 1.5 way mechanical after that and it was golden. The Carbonetic units are just as streetable and offer exceptional perforamnce on the track as well. I have also heard good things about the OS Giken but haven't tried one personally.

Thanks for the input DDM. Even though my car is my daily driver, I also track it and am looking to go as fast as my wallet will let me. Sounds like my diff. $ would better serve me if I went with a clutch type diff.

Yes.

And in case anyone is wondering my opinions aren't biased. I sell Quaife, Kaaz, Carbonetic, Nismo, Cusco, OS Giken, etc. so my opinions are not meant to traffic sales. Had someone ask me a question like that the other day so I just want to make that clear. Even if I didn't sell all of those brands I would not offer a biased opinion.

The Quaife is the more streetable diff, but the OS Giken and Cusco are beasts at the track. They are less smooth in operation, I admit, but I do think the clutch ones are the best all rounders.

ONE QUESTION: What differential noises do you guys mean??? I just want an opinion because I'm getting a diff for the 370z and just want some input about any noise the diff will make.....

The new Kazz has more clutch packs and is as quiet as stock. Just put one in my RX7. Nothing is stronger for your stock diff pumpkin. This is not opinion, this is fact. I have over 800hp in my 7, more power then 99% of you will have in your Z. Im getting one for my Z as well.

ErnieT,

Is your 370 a sports model or base? Do you know if the Kazz will fit in the stock base pumpkin?

Thanks,

Tony
