Wheel spacers at AutoX

Is this okay or not?
Thanks

I know a few drifters that use 30mm spacers on the rear who have no problems. A lot of people recommend against them but I haven't experienced any issues. Ymmv

Thanks, I have only been in one meet, 5 runs. I only plan on moderate driving, no b*lls to the wall. Just run the course and complete without another DNF.

I've run bolt on spacers for drifting, autocross, track, and never had an issue. If I was going to run slip on spacers I would change out my wheel studs to the extended ARP studs.

We all love this autocross video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kyMDNzhfwn0

Thanks Apollo, I'm doing a track with instructor , on the 27th, and the Autox is on March 2. Just for fun!

spacers are fine, but you are restricted to I believe, 5mm per wheel, if you wish to stay in stock class...not sure what mods you have...

No mods, no class, not racing. Just an old guy enjoying his car. Never had a sports car before, and my wonderful wife that insisted I buy it.
Cheers

Bucket List?

Yes. That's pretty much it!

I've been running 15mm in the front and 20mm in the rear for two years doing AutoX without issues. They are however, the ones with the removable studs. I would never trust the ones with the built in studs. You'll have 10 lugs per wheel then..... No bueno for me.

Long áss studs and having to take the OEM studs out... No bueno for me either, lol

OP, both types have a lot of success on tracks, just don't let the few that DO have issues dissuade you from running them.
As long as spacers are installed correctly, you should be good to go

Spacers

Hey, thanks. They are installed properly, and re-torqued after 70 miles at Discount Tire. I'm an occasional AutoXer, not hard core. Just enjoy driving the car. Event is march 2nd. Houston, Tx.
