This is what I got from Chris
Hello Martin, Yes there is a lot that can be benefitted from our spindle in a road racing application. The kit uses rod ends at each joint for precise handling and feedback through the front wheels. The drop spindle lowers the car 1" without effecting the suspension geometry, and lastly the control arm kit is fully adjustable which will allow you to adjust the camber, track width, and caster with the lower control arm, and then finer adjustment in camber and caster with the upper control arm. Thank you for the interest Chris |

I don't even know what it is but if it can lower the CG by 1" and not mess with geometry it's a big deal.
Can someone explain what it is and how it works?

Not sure that I'd want this without some sort of similar arrangement in the back, but who knows? |

Based on that it sort of begs the question what that 1" is worth in terms of lower CG, and if it would allow the max CG to be lower. I am guessing a big maybe. with 18" wheels and whatever appropriate tires, our cars can not really be lowered more than about 2" if you want to leave enough compression travel. Correct me if I am wrong. So, if the spindle lowers our car an inch w no spring/height adjustment-that's good. BUT if our max lowering range is still 2", then the main benefit of this piece is going to be that the roll center will not drop as much which will give a shorter roll moment. 3" at max? Fine and dandy, but not sure that is a real "problem" with our car. If it drops 50 lbs at the same time, gimme a price. ![]()
