Default 370z vs 911 ZO6 S4!!!

My boys and I decided 2 goto the "track". It wasn't as big of a turnout that I wanted but it was still sufficient. The vehicles were all sports car junkies favorites:
A)911 Turbo with a little work
B)C6 ZO6 heavily tuned. 560whp and a $30,000 body kit. Carbon fiber hood, rear wing front spoiler and rear diffuser. It was basically a race car
C)My stock 370z sport 6spd
D)And to my surprise a unexpected appearance of a new S4 convertible tuned
A very nice mixture of extreme sport cars and a couple of up and comers. I was looking forward 2 running the S4 because we are in the same class. So I thought. I knew the Z couldn't compete with the 911 and the ZO6 (or could it) but I figured it would be fun. As we all know it comes down 2 the driver, but I will make car comparisons 4 this report.
The S4 was bring up the rear. It was the tallest vehicle of the group and it couldn't make the necessary moves 2 keep up. Granted he was driving wit the top down. Not a smart move. The 911 and ZO6 were very agile. The 911 & ZO6 was very fast but were unable 2 use it's power due 2 the tight "track". This was to the Z's advantage. The ZO6 is a very big car. Long and wide. It remains me of the Viper. Because of the tightness of the "track" the ZO6 couldn't hit it's sweet spot. It never got out of 3rd gear. So it came down to 911 and the Z. The 911 never hit it's sweet spot either. Could only get in 4th gear.
The Z is well under powered in this group (excluding the S4). I had da pedal to the floor a lot. I was mostly in 5th gear with some downshifts to 4th and 3rd. The Z made every move flawlessly and felt unsettled only once but it was still controllable. It has good manners when pushed hard. I didn't feel nervous at any point during the run. More power is needed in the Z. 200whp will make it a beast. During the end of the 1st run the Z's nemesis raised it's ugly head. The oil temp got up to 260 degrees. Wow I wasn't even running that long. If I'm gonna keep this up I will definitely need a oil cooler. I gave the car a chance to lower the oil temperature and it was on to the 2nd run. The 2nd run was more spirited. I never saw the ZO6 in front of me except early in the 1st run. It was 911 and the Z competing during both runs. All the fun came to a abrupt end due to a flat tire suffered by the 911. The Z can run with anything with the right conditions. Everyone knows it won't win a drag race with those monsters, but when it comes down to who's a better driver the Z is a good pick. I'm excited to start tuning it so I can see what it can really do with more power. Damn I'm so happy with the choice I made. After everything was said and done props was giving to my driving skill and to the Z's ability.

The 370z strikes again!!!!

you realize w/ 200 extra horses - you will probably not hit the "sweet" spot on that track either

Yeah I realize that, but I rather have it than not. We all know the conditions suited the Z. It will not always be like that. I don't wanna get left in the dust.

Obviously, seeing as to how a Grand National and M5 are deserving of that title.

What in the hell kind of "racing" was this? You sound like a 14 year-old who just conjured something up after watching 2 Fast 2 Furious. And, gee...what a shock! It was aired on USA tonight.

"I had da pedal to the floor a lot."

Now, if you'll excuse me, I must tend to my fuel maps. Its got a nasty hole which is why my car is unloading in 3rd.

Sounds good. We don't race that much, we're just really into cars. Besides tires r expensive. Unfortunately some of our meets are spur of the moment. Since we are just getting together we haven't all been at the same place at the same time. I'm the only 1 from the Bronx the was able 2 represent this time. There's a Z meet every thursday at the end of Gun Hill Rd and Allerton. I haven't gone yet. I heard there are a lot of 300zx.

My bad 4 not treating this like 1 of my essays from college. I didn't know I was being graded. I'm writing as if I was telling my boys a story. If this is 2 low brow 4 u maybe u should be on a forum discussing quantum physics. M5's and Grand Nationals may not be technically true sports cars, but they make big power. Muscle cars have to be included. That Grand National is making 600hp.

That was painful to read. Can you try english next time? And while the Z06 might be slightly less agile in some sense than the Z due to basic geometry, it has the advantage in both weight and power. It's hard to imagine any scenario in which the Z06 would not take out the 370, especially a supposedly modded Z06 vs a stock 370.

You would have a hard time convincing me you attended college, let alone graduated.

I digress...care to elaborate on the context of this "racing?" I've been road-racing competitively with NASA and have participated in almost all local HPDE events for over 6 years. Never have I once experienced anything even similar to what you described. Regardless of your stellar grammar and sentence-structure, nothing in your story makes sense to anyone who actually has been in such an environment nor will I begin to explain why.
