NASA tt classing

Did I read it correctly, a stock 370 with big tires would be put into tta? 14 Points + 4 for 285 tires, 2 for rs3 and total of 20?

Yes but TTA no longer exists. Look at TT3

NASA Time Trial Rules
IMO the 370z gets hosed in tt classification. I can't see how the base 370z is faster than the Nismo 350z yet it gets 7 more points. There is no way to get it competitive in TTB with the added points and it is too slow for TT3. IMO the base Z should be TTC** and the sport Z should be TTB and the Nismo should be TTB*.

Cool dude you planning TT next year? I will be doing entire NASA TT season next year. I wouldnt worry about 370Z disadvantages in classing I suspect you will do fine. I was truly hosed in classifications back in 2010 with stockish Nismo on A6's and did alright.

I would do some events, but I can't commit to full time due to family schedule. I am probably not going to bother running in TT3. I have a stock car, it's way too slow to be in that class. Even in TTB I am going to have a tough time as I am going to be running against TTC cars with full slicks and suspension in TTB. I actually don't want to run the TT, but that is the only thing open next weekend. I might just wait another few weeks. I am getting itchy because I got new tires mounted, was hoping to squeeze in
